Focusing on meaningful relationships over volume of accounts, Tenly and Jessica envisioned a more personalized client experience driven by a culture that supports and empowers women—both on their own team and their client community.
They also sought to build a CPA firm that embraces and leads with technology, rather than lagging behind it, so that every client can benefit from its advances and efficiencies.

Tenly Krakoff, CPA
Tenly Krakoff is a dedicated CPA who holds a Master’s in Accountancy with a focus on taxation from Gonzaga University. She has a wealth of experience in business operations, which gives her a unique perspective in the accounting field. She loves decoding complex financial puzzles and streamlining operations for maximum efficiency. She is also a Lean Six-Sigma certified expert in optimizing back-office processes.
Tenly specializes in small, closely held businesses, with a passion for supporting entrepreneurial and executive women. She provides customized tax planning, growth strategies, and operational solutions, helping her clients balance their professional and personal lives with ease.
Outside of the firm, Tenly is a proud wife, mother, and dog lover. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two adorable French bulldogs, Cash and Hank. Tenly loves attending live music concerts, wine tasting, experimenting in the kitchen, traveling, and trying new experiences. With her children now grown, she cherishes family time and the joy of new adventures. Tenly is always eager to learn new things and challenge herself, both in her work and personal life. She believes that life is a journey of exploration and empowerment, and she strives to live it fully and joyfully.
Jessica Simons, CPA
Jessica Simons is a CPA with a Master's in Accounting, specializing in taxation, from Washington State University. With over a decade of experience in public accounting, Jessica’s client-centric approach goes well beyond the numbers. She forges genuine connections with clients, understanding their financial goals and crafting expert advice to maximize their benefits.
Jessica’s background includes extensive experience with high net worth individuals, small businesses in service and creative industries, and estates and trusts—and she can navigate their dynamic tax environments with savvy expertise. She is passionate about elevating and supporting women in the accounting industry and as business leaders. A well-rounded advisor with an eye for complex financial landscapes, Jessica is an essential component of each client’s financial team.
Beyond her career, Jessica embraces life with a zest for adventure and a philosophy of embracing every moment fully and vibrantly. She can frequently be found seeking out local culinary gems, cheering on her favorite sports teams with her husband, experimenting with new baking recipes, and creating memories with friends and loved ones. Jessica co-founded The Purple Group with a renewed commitment to nurturing professional growth and personal well-being—both for herself and her clients.
